Its principal, Thomas E. Finnerty founded the law firm of Thomas E. Finnerty & Associates in 1962. Its offices are at 161 Granite ave. in the Dorchester section of Boston. Mr. Finnerty is a former Assistant District Attorney for Suffolk County and former District Attorney for Plymouth County. Mr. Finnerty has created a law firm that provides comprehensive representation to its clients in a general legal practice concentrating in litigation. The firm is made up of a small group of attorneys from diverse legal backgrounds with extensive experience with civil and criminal trials, personal injury litigation, insurance defense litigation, employment litigation, probate, real estate and Medicaid and elder law. As a matter of law firm policy, there is no charge for an initial consultation.
