FINNERTY Jr.
Mr. Finnerty, Jr. has been associated with the law firm since September of 1993. He concentrates his practice on the trial civil
and criminal cases. Mr. Finnerty, Jr. has
tried over one hundred jury trials representing clients accused of motor vehicle offenses
such as driving under the influence of alcohol, driving to endanger, leaving the scene
after personal injury and property damage, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon,
larceny, receiving stolen property and more serious offenses including indecent assault
and battery and rape, usually with excellent results for his clients. Mr. Finnerty, Jr. has also represented both
plaintiffs and defendants in civil actions, motor vehicle torts, dram shop and premise
liability cases in the Superior Court.
Mr. Finnerty,
Jr. was employed as an Assistant District Attorney with the Plymouth County District
Attorneys Office for two years. While
employed as a prosecutor, Mr. Finnerty, Jr. was responsible for prosecuting a wide range
of criminal matters including larceny of motor vehicle, operating under the influence of
drugs and alcohol, domestic violence, drug possession and distribution and various other
property crimes. During Thomas Finnerty, Jr.s tenure as an Assistant District
Attorney in Plymouth County he tried over sixty jury trials.
